St Paul's Way School was completed and handed over in August 2011.
St Paul's Way Trust School
St. Paul’s Way Community School is a flagship new build school with facilities that benefit both the pupils and the wider community, including a public library, a theatre and a large public sports provision. The school breaks down the common barriers between the community and the pupils by removing the unsightly fences and gates often seen surrounding schools. The school now provides secure access between the public and private realm, allowing the community easy access to the public functions from the street. Designed for maximum educational flexibility, each of the classroom spaces can be changed easily into larger or smaller open plan areas.
History
SPW phase 2 is on its final stages, we have currently 5 subcontractors working to finish their outstanding works,
The two football pitch and tennis court are 85% complete which has given the site a good look, our soft landscaping is progressing and the tree planting will start by the end of next week. Our external hard landscaping is also on its final stage as the tarmac has started. Street furniture and cycle shelters are also 60% complete which would lead to a fast completion once the hard landscape is complete.
Electrical installations are on programme as the main cable has been pulled and the feeder pillar is progressed.
CCTV and intercom connections will take place along with the gate installation by 22nd of August”.
