Successfull handover to School on 05th September 2012.
Swanlea School is undergoing improvement works as part of the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) initiative to rebuild and remodel Schools across the country.
The approved design for the redevelopment of the School is split over two parts, refurbishment of the existing building, and construction of a new building for additional teaching facilities.
The programme is set to be achieved over a phased period for the next 2 years, with the preparation of the site already underway.
Whilst the phased building works are taking place, a small percentage of the School will occupy temporary teaching cabins, during each phase. This temporary accommodation will be within the existing School grounds close to Brady Street and comprise 14 temporary classrooms, 3 storeys in height.
